Building the Dome Roof

This house is built similar to Moroccan architecture.  Simone Swan (Presidio) brought the idea to the Big Bend area in hopes of teaching the Mexicans how to build adobe houses affordably and with the few resources they had.  The dome was built with a jig set up by Mauro (Ojinaga) and Jesusita (Presidio).  They are now masters at building these type roofs.
